I am not sure what the actual paint code is but I have two original rear panels that I can see if I can match some paint up on...

SC360 Progress: Trunk - 3/4 painted with that crappy water base trunk spray bomb. I will have 7 cans sprayed by the time it is done. I may over coat that crap with a coat of clear with flattener in hopes of gluing the stuff down. Man, I wish that I could find some better stuff. Stripes - In house- the second set. The first set cushioned the blow when the car fell off of the jack stands poking a hole in 3 of the pieces. Oh yea, that was a good time not to be around me. The body damage was minimal just by pure luck... Rear Diff - after much and I mean much debate, I am going the sensible route. I have a 3.15 limited slip out of something that all I need to do is clean up, paint and put new seals in. The 3.15 on the highway is still a little steep but at least I will be able to drive it somewhere. I have been oh so tempted to put a 3.91 in it but for what.. So that I can smoke tires from stop light to stop light? Oh wait, I have a car like that now that I can't drive anywhere.. Tail lights - Finally came up with a combination of new old stock and nice used stock parts to make it look decient. Picked the best rear tail panel out of the three that I had and decided to sand of the couple of little scratches in the exposed ribs promptly blowing through the annodizing. I haven't quite figured out how I am going to hide those spots... Front Seats - I have a nice rear back seat but no front seats. Well I do but, those are more suited for NEJoe's Hornet.. Anway, I found a front seat core 2.5 hours away from me today - Score! Also, I called our local source for original seat material and he had it! I bought the last of the black stuff that he had. Originial Auto Interiors in MI. Amazing, I have bought original material for 4 cars from those guys.. And, they actually answer the phone when you call them!! Wheels & Tires - Rear tires in house, front tires are on a 2 week back order. Spent another 3 hours last night on filling in pits and sanding down the rear wheels. They are in primer now but there will be at least another 3 in to getting them ready for paint. Then, I have to do the same thing to the front wheels. Engine - Chuck says it is done! Well, the machining part anyway. It will be a stocker except for forged pistons and a 401 cam.

I always paint the black centers (without masking) and then use a paper plate to mask the center when I paint the argent...

I always paint the whole wheel black DP90 and mask off the centers too. The factory did it the opposite way. I am going to have a plexiglass mask made up and use so that I don't get that sharp tape edge. I am glad that I bought new center caps back in 1988 for them!

Yup, you could do a complete thread on "remember when you could buy a" (in this case a complete set of NOS centers for less than $100)

Rick, Any new progress on the SC/360? I've been doing some serious thinking about selling my 70 AMX and getting back to work on my SC/360. There's been a lot of interest in SC/360's lately and it's motivated me to get back to work on mine. A few people have been purchasing parts from me lately for their SC/360 restorations so I know that are at least 3 or 4 guys that are heavy into completing cars...

Well... I still have the AMX and I haven't dragged out my SC/360 to work on it but I've been weeding through all of my extra SC/360 parts. I should have some pretty good SC/360 stuff for sale at Kenosha this year.
I know you put the SC project on the back burner like I did, have yoy done anything to it recently. I really liked those old updates....

Got the front seats done for the SC/360. I bought the last original material left in MI nd had my local gal sew them up for me. I had her cut the top embossed part out of the used rear seat that I had so that it would look right.
