Might as wel be competetive to those 572 chevies. Small summit cam is a good choice for purr stock. But you could do better with custom. I wonder why you couldnt sneek a sneeky hydraulic roller in there. Yaknow since you already can run roller rockers.

I know your goal is pure stock. I also know pure stock is a figment of the imagination. Your plan is a good one and rule compliant. I’m just shooting the breeze. If you were considering FAST racing i would have casually suggested something that loosely resembled a stock engine that had at least 450 cubic inches. Yea I was bench racing about that over here.. rebsamcandjeep.proboards.com/thread/2460/fastdrags

Exactly, as an old Cheate.... er.. I mean, Racer used to say, try and catch me.... maybe you sneak by a couple times.

Anyone know what ever became of that big $$ Indy motor that Mike Luke put together and never used? It supposably dyno'd pretty close to 1K HP.

This just might end up being the replacement mule for the Rot Rogue.... sch2 by Rick Jones, on Flickr The 360 is safely secured in the passenger seat. What is there not to like about that! sch1 by Rick Jones, on Flickr

Those early hornet notchbacks are ultra light and make killer hotrods.

I'm luvin' that quick release steering wheel. LOL! I didn't even notice the "pinned" steering wheel. Race car shit right there.

This Golden Slime Metallic one will be coming to Blissfield, not the yellow one. It is actually one of 19 real SC/360's with a 360 2v and 3 speed stick trans. It won't be going back together that way or even that color of course.

Well I left home Saturday morn at 10:00 a.m. and got home Sunday morn at 2:30 but it's painted. Javtwotone and I double teamed the painting duties. He did the easy stuff and I did all of the hard stuff. ;D Now at least it looks like shiny primer.. This is the quarter panel that I had to replace.. I can't believe that thing's been painted for 9 years.... and it has maybe seen 2 hours of sunlight.

Yea that is bad. I guess I shouldn't have built 50+ engines between then and now.
