I keep looking at all your shit.... err.. stuff and think I've got to thin the heard myself. I just haven't been able to scrap any of it. I am really hating trying to sell it. I am sick of the "buyers" on the other forum and I know I can't sell much "original" stuff here. I've posted few ads over there a month or so ago and never followed through on any of the sales. I am sure those buyers think I'm an ass now... Oh, well, they're probably right...

Oh I thought that you were a ass the first time I met you. Lol! I'm kidding of course. I had grand plans of restoring and rebuild all of this stuff and selling it off when I retire.. You know, as a old guy who just needs something to tinker with. There is not enough years left in me to do that and besides someday, I would actually like to work on my own stuff. I am envying Spud big time for being able to work on his own project. I have been selling some stuff off but even that takes time to box it up and go to the post office. And, most people wants to know how much shipping is going to be. Sorry but, I am not making a special trip to the post office and find out shipping costs on a $10.00 part that I should be asking $20.00 for. The twist is, every time I get inspired to work on the infrastructure to get the building done, I end up sorting parts to get them out of the way so that I can work on the damn building. OK enough bitching, I guess that I had better get back to work. Anyone need any parts?

I saw the name of this topic and wondered hmm ... whats pathetic? Then i saw the wall of headers and still wondered whats pathetic? Or why is that pathetic? I have at least as many and i just threw a couple away and cut one pair up for parts... i have some chevy into jeep headers and buick v6 headers... inline amc headers... so i think i might have you covered on pathetic one way or another.😁 I dont have anyone elses stuff to work on so i work on my own. I figure im kinda like you. The window for getting things done is closing. I have had these machines for forty years and never had a nice one, so i have picked the two 69 javelins and am focusing on them. Every day that i waste is one less i have at all. I know a guy who has said for maybe 25 years he was gonna do his amx and it is further from even running every time i have seen it. More rusted, beat up, more parts gone or lost. I told him if he worked on it 15 minutes a day he would have a hundred thousand hours in it for the last 25 years and it might be really something. Invest some time in Rick, Rick. Its your life, take a little chunk for yourself before its too late. Make one machine a milestone you can wear like a fine suit. Put your lady in the passenger seat and enjoy a saturday evening in it. Women hate cars when men spend too much time working on them...that i know... My wife doesnt hate my car when we both spend some quality time in it. I hate to upset her... I just really like the old cars and they take a lot of time.

I have been posting up for sale and actually not doing too bad. Packaging and shipping is not fun but so far, I have sold $440.00 worth the parts and 4 engines worth $1,950.00. Even still, I have a few more truck loads of stuff to get rid of.

Rick... There never is enough time! The story of my life. I always thought that I need a clone to help me get all my stuff done. Then I thought I needed at least 2 clones. Now I feel like I need a army of clones. Hopefully when I get the back room done and reorganized I will have a better outlook.
