As you get older, the floor gets further away

Making those bushing would take about 10 minutes, if you took your time. Not exactly the hardest thing to remake. At least in nylon, brass, aluminum, or steel. Rubber is another story. Hei American friends. Yes I am alive. The Corona did not catch me,not yet. Sorry for disapppearing but health issues with my father and wife have stoped my doomed Javelin. These bushings are common Ford stuff.Never in rubber.MustangΒ΄s Unlimited catalog has them. Are they still in business? By the way Rick I have not done anything with your 290 flywheel...no time whatsoever...

This is sad.. I have had this thing since 2015 but thanks form the help of Ramblingrebel, NEJoe, and Javtwotone we are almost done with it. 1989 when my Bro and I restored the body. I used front fenders for rear patch panels. The car in the garage right behind it is one of the Hurtz Rent-a-car 1969 AMX's. I think that they only made 2. That one was a green 343 4 speed. IMG_4572 by Rick Jones, on Flickr 2015 when I pulled it out of his garage. 19 69 Javelin SST 002 by Rick Jones, on Flickr Last year after Javetwotone had it for a winter or maybe two. IMG_4571 by Rick Jones, on Flickr Today I drove it down the road and back. Trans needs adjusted so I have a call into the Trans Guy. Hopefully it is a simple adjustment. It seems to go from first to third in a very short distance. It will still roast the tires though. IMG_5028 by Rick Jones, on Flickr

Once you're done with that, you can start on your Hallmark ornament.

Back to work on the Breedlove car. Got the bumper cut out and the engine oil cooler installed. The oil cooler is stupid expensive and I am still looking for another one for the Differential oil cooler if anyone runs across one. I still have to make a little center brace and mount a screen to the outside. IMG_5212 by Rick Jones, on Flickr I copied the #2 car and it looks like we may have screwed up. This photo was taken after they pulled the engine out to set it up for the salt flats. The opening in the bumper is cut out differently. LeeBreedlove by Rick Jones, on Flickr
