I bet you could pick out 3 cams from that list and satisfy 95% of the AMC world.

99% if they would just their heads. I've never seen so many people who think they need 500hp in order to haul lawn chairs to a car show.

Reb, don't forget they also need 500 HP to race Mustangs red light to red light.
What they fail to realize is, the one's they are beating are V6s or aren't racing at all and saying "look at this idiot" and maybe do enough to watch em go and make an ass out of themselves.

Yeah. Technology marches on. A new (2012 and up) V-6 Mustang will smoke most stock muscle cars in the 1/4 and definitely in the turns. And do it with the A/C and the stereo on. Plus it'll get 30 mpg, idle all day in traffic, and probably go 200K+ miles before needing a motor rebuild.

The Comp 270 my bud had in his 360 ran best at 5800 shift points. They aren't lying there.

When you lay them all out like that the Edelbrock Performer cam is really small compared to the stock cams. I think they were cornering the 304 Jeep guys with that one.

It is kinda funny to compare those specs with my current race car cam. The lift is a little more than on the card since I have 1.7 intake rockers and 1.65 exhaust rockers.

Oh hell, that thing is barely bigger than a stock one. Would probably be ok for a 290 2bbl....
