What about 2 stroke oil instead of diesel? I run a blend of 1oz/gallon in my rx7 to lube the rotor housings. I always get the marine grade with tc-w3 cert.

Corn squeezin's are excellent fuel...in systems designed to utilize it. Which means not much of anything made before about 2000. And pretty much not any power equipment. . Anything korn can do methanol can do better and that includes being an oxygenating agent in gasoline. Methanol would be a much better mixer in gasoline without any of the corruption ethanol causes.

I think quite a few have, and that explains a lot.

This fuel problem popped up on the Mopar and AMC forums. Some of the answers are wonderful. "Timming," The Choke is needed when the Car was just shut off 3 minutes ago in 110 degree weather, Rear end seal is bad, Buy Lodge Plugs......

These poor guys will have $7000 in a complete rebuild for their car with the guidance of all these Fucking idiots. Just like the one special member who changed a "Timming" Chain for a light stumble/miss.

Ok so now im on avgas 100 low lead. Not bad stuff 4.50 a gallon. Thats whats not bad about it. Works pretty good. Runs a lot better than korn piss. Not real convenient to get but about the same hassle as racegas. But lots cheaper. And i dont have to pay for the can. Gonna give it a try for awhile.

This subject of alcoholized gasoline has happened in Brasil way sooner than the rest of the world.Back in 74 when the first oil crisis hit the planet,Brasil was importing 80% of its need. Can you imagine how bad we got hit? Our inflation skyrocketed with the new cost of gasoline. The price of any car with more than 4 cylinders went down overnight and that was when I was turning 16.Party time! We suddenly we could buy big cars for dirt cheap...but we could not afford to drive it.It was heaven and hell at the same time.Anyway, our military government back then decided to brake the chains with the Arabs and started a nationwise plan called Programa do Álcool that gave enormous incentives to farmers so that they could grow sugar-cane and build alcohol mill plants. The car factories back then were Ford,Fiat,VW,Chrysler and Chevrolet. They all imediatelly jumped on research and development of ethanol carbureted engines. In the early 80s almost 90% of the new cars sold were alcohol burners. Some sucked because they required too long to warm up enough so that you got decent driveability. Some were better and sold like hot cakes. The liter of alcohol was regulated by government to cost no more than 60% of gasoline. It was economically feasable due to this regulation. The program was a success only because it was subsidized by government.Brasil then finally was free from the arabs embargos, but at a high cost of inflation that we never really recovered. Every gas station was forced by law to sell alcohol on at least one pump. The cars smelled real strong when cold due to rich stoich ratios to cover some driveability issues.Even nowadays when the cost advantage is not a factor ,most new cars are flex fuel meaning they will burn any mix of gasoline and alcohol. But how about the gasoline only burning cars? They received a shot by law of at least 20% of ethanol. Now adays our gasoline has almost 30% of alcohol, meaning it is no longer gasoline. Its is quemically considered a gasohol.Neither gasoline nor alcohol.Guess what? It sucks! If you drive an older car,be it a Camaro with a 307 or a Dart with a 318,the carb, fuel pump and fuel tank plus lines are constantly attacked by this fuel. And yes the fuel bow evaporates in about 5 hours when parked. We also have to keep starting our cars every other day for a few minutes just to keep things from clogging or getting dirtied by corrosion particulates. 2 stroke oil helps a little but it is a constant nightmare especially on carbs with diafragms like Holleys. So corn piss up there or cane piss down here,my recomendation is keep starting your car every other day if possible.3 days no start is so-so and 4 days is asking for problem.Sometimes the carb dries and the needle gets dry-stuck to the seat.No matter what fuel pressure the pump pushs it simply does not move to allow a new gulp of gasoline to reach the float bow.And you must open the carb to clean and blow it dry again and again.
