I am in Michigan just 4 miles north of the Ohio line near Toledo. It is as flat as Iowa around here though... We set a new record for worst all time winter this year.

Sorry Rick but that is way too funny. I'm what, 45 minutes north of you and we don't have a thing on the ground. STill too cold for the second week of April but at least I don't have any snow.

I had a couple of frosts this "winter"...as well as a pretty bad tornado in december which was very odd. Now spring is in full bloom.

Time to renew this post again.... We got our first major snow last night which dumped about 7" and we are due for that same amount tonight. So of course my Snow Plowin SOB was just out in it waiting for action. Fired it up started going at it and got about half done when the blade decided to over extend the hydraulics somehow..... This means that the blade is planted on the ground and the front wheels are in the air... right at the road. So now the tractor can go backwards or forwards about a foot in either direction. First option is to crawl under it in the snow and take a look. NFW. Number two option is hope to be able to drag it away from the road with my truck but then what. Still gotta fix it laying on the snow. NFW. I finally got the bright idea to unhook the linkage to the blade and let it float. At least I can move the tractor now albeit plowing snow either forward or backward. Finally plowed the 200' back to my shop in reverse and backed right in to the the newly renovated bay. At least now I can lay under it and just have wet nasty snowy water dip on me while I fix it. NFW. Time for a cup of coffee first. I a supposed to be retired for Christs sake..

It's about damn time it snowed. I went through a lot of work to get the Eagle ready and now I get to have some fun. It does donuts like crazy now with the posi out back. And goes like hell through the snow with the 4wd set. But now I get to drive over to my dad's place to shovel his parking area. Not so much fun. LOL
