Javtwotone 401 .040 over, 280H cam, Air Gap intake, 800 Holley, Hedman headers massaged to actually fit the exhaust ports. 333hp and 385tq. Dyno showed it running rich through out but it had a very smooth run. He thought it would have seen 400tq to the rear wheels if we had dropped a couple of jet sizes front and rear.

That's a pretty nice motor, decent #s for such a mild build if you ask me.

I'll have to find the printout to see what brand of dyno it was. Just realized the video was of the first pull, and you can see a little smoke as it spun the right rear tire on the roller...
Dynojet machine.

I brought the Beer & Pizza compliments of DCheek45! Once we get it running right we may have a little something with higher octane to celebrate with...

53. DCheek45: 427 Stroker Round 2... We we finally got the miss out of it by changing back to the Pertronics system and changing to a range hotter plugs (from Autolite D4 to NGK FR5). We had to eliminate the Fast brand crank trigger system to get there. It made 496 HP and 500 #/ft of torque before 6000 rpm (on 93 octane Sunoco) We are getting there! Cudos to NEJoe's Super Tune on the 950 Proform. No changes yet. Next, we modify a MSD crank trigger system and try again.

Dcheek45 427 stoker: Swapped the wiring over on the Fast crank trigger and still no go. Luckily, I took a 12 pack to Stickshifter's last night and talked him in to doing a little machine work on a MSD trigger wheel. (Thanks Stickshifter, David owes you one!) Anyway, it ran perfect with the MSD crank trigger. The first pull it made 499.2 HP and 500something #/ft of torque. Then, we swapped out the 1" carb spacer for a 2" carb spacer and it made 502.9 HP @ 5500 and 511.9 #/ft of torque at about 4600 rpm..... on pump gas. I will post up the official data as soon as I get it...
