Rest assured if a pair were available they would be sold to someone irregardless of price.

The fun is, lay a price on them then. "Yeah, we're making these $16,999.99 a pair bare." lmao watch the eyes bug out. Now that would motivate me to make another pair. But just barely. A non AMC billet intake from Visner is about $7K. No doubt they are nice pieces. The aluminum for my intake was $600. And I figure I could maybe cut 5~10 hours from the pair. So $100 an hour = $5K plus the $600 for material. Yea, $7K is understandable. And just to be clear, I am not doing any of this in hopes of selling something to make some money.

I was just thinkin' 62 hrs @ $100/hr + materials + $700 profit so you're doing a little better than buying the job = $7K. If yer gonna run with the big dogs...

So cool.. Why the "step" going into the head? Some tumble or velocity thing?

So cool.. Why the "step" going into the head? Some tumble or velocity thing? Nothing fancy like that. The intake was just sitting there on the heads and they were not bolted down either. Plus the entrance of the port in the h4ead needs to be blended to match the intake. The difference is not as dramatic as it looks in that picture. I did get the cam for it last week. 100% custom from Bullet based off the solid model and print that I sent them. And guess what? It is spot on. A damn nice piece.

Any update on this monster ? Thanks for asking. Not a lot to say right now. I have a LOT of machining to do over the next couple of months but the hope is to have the engine assembled by spring. But from this picture I'm sure you can get an idea of the direction. FWIW, the current nitrous motor is in the middle. The Rambler bracket engine is on the right.
