The segment car belongs to Don Moyer (from Mentor, Ohio)... he owns the '40 Willys gasser with the AMC 401 in it.

Very cool!
Those guys are local to me. You'll see Quaker City and the old Meander Drag Strip (it's shut down but the strip is still there)

That picture of my SC/Rambler shows up in a lot of places... It is at the bottom of Wikipeda. I was standing right beside it when it was taken in Kenosha 2003. That is lake Michigan in the background. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rambler_American

You know what else is cool? They aren't even AMC guys, yet that car made it out of the shop and made a full 1/4 mile pass on National TV without losing oil pressure and a set of distributer gears.

I see so many ripping on this show. 232 25 sec 1/4 guys, people who can't do shit without 500 help threads on forums, etc. People make me be an asshole. Seems they also got their oil dipstick in on their own as well.

Just a glimpse of it. Cap makes a good point, these guys aren't even AMC guys, yet they can put one together without issue. BTW, I LOVE that paint on Don's car.

Yea, he is a good guy with some cool stuff. He comes to Milan Drag Way on Nostaglia Day and he had the Rebel Reaper in Detroit Autorama last year.

I did notice the car puking after the so called 1/4 mile run.

I saw that as well. Maybe they can start a 50 page thread on how to install an overflow bottle.
If that wasn't a 1/4 mile, they shoulda dumped a JY 360 in there instead. They're good for 11-12 flat. Several posts on these forums to confirm that.
