Ever since I dragged my J10 out of mothballs, I've been buyin' stuff from BJ's. So far, everything has been excellent, equal to or superior to OEM. Customer service is good too. ACC sent me the wrong floor kit, and BJ's took care of it. Prices have been very reasonable, especially considering that they are just about the only game in town for full size Jeep repops.
Not that anybody will ever see this.

I agree. Everything I put on that Grand Wagoneer from BJ's was well made. Don't remember if the Addco rear sway came from them, but it was crap...

I agree. The Addco anti-sway bar was crap.

Unfortunate update on BJ's off-road. I installed a new Red Top steering box and steering shaft on the customer's Grand Wagoneer, which went fine. Until it came time to return the $300 core charge attached steering box. I apparently/supposedly missed it, but they are claiming the core was a 3 bolt box that someone welded a 4th tab to it. Thus keeping the $300. My customer hasn't said much about this, so I don't know if they worked out a deal, especially since they have the 3 bolt box, but... this guy spent a boat load of cash on BJ's stuff and this seemed pretty chicken shit. Now on to the BJ's rear disc brake conversion kit! I've made my own home-brewed rear disc set-ups, so I can certainly figure this out, but damn what crap instructions. Best part was their pictures showing the installation on a spring under axle vehicle, which doesn't come close to working on this spring over axle Jeep, so you get to undo everything since it won't work in that location. I wish I could post pictures of their completely hokey parking brake cable spacer. Shit welded two pieces of tubing together so bad that the cable won't fit through it AND it doesn't even fit in the bracket of the 40 yr old calipers they're using. Instructions say there "may" be some modifications needed to make the stock cables work. Bullshit! try not going to work at all. Oh but they conveniently offer extended cables for sale, which would still require the use of the shit spacer. Not going that route, I can certainly come up with cables that will mount to the caliper like their supposed to.

Addco USED to make a usable sway bar. Unfortunately AMC isn't it. I have one sitting in the box for 2 years. About 4 inches wider than the original and the dip for the pan is towards the pan. When I did rear disc, I used TSM brackets. Didn't want cable spacers. The OE r/r cable fit. The left was too short. After an extensive search I found that a 69 American used a longer l/r cable than my big car. Perfect!
