Here is a short youtube video from last weekend race. We entered a true street tire class and managed 2nd place.
We are happy with it specially since its a completly new build and we were only running a 235/60 R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A, when everyone else in the class were running a 275/60 or 295/50
We planed using a 401 engine we had built for it but it was giving us problems so we threw a 360 in it and signed up for the race.
Current engine is a 360 spare motor I had. 10.5 compression forged wiseco pistons Scat H beam 360 rods Torker intake Home ported steel 090 heads with a 2.08" intake and 1.74" exhaust. Mike Jones custom solid flat tappet cam (236° intake and 244° exhaust @ .050") Pro Systems 780cfm carb
Transmission is 904 from A&A Transmission with full auto valvebody and column shifter. Custom 9" converter from SMR Transmission.

Awesome! That's a sweet car. My Rogue is one of two cars that I really kick myself for ever selling.

Adjusting valve lash before next race. And yes I will change the blue radiator hose out for a black one also waiting on a new black distributor cap.

I like the cool air intake air cleaner housing. Can you take some picures of the inside of it? Particularly the carb entrance? I have debated and procrastinated on getting one . I have played around with ideas on hood scoops and shaker hoodscoops but still havent made up my mind on what to do. The setup you have is very clean, tidy and stealthy, and requires no hood cutting. The shape of a javelin hood renders it very unfreindly to hood scoop fitting, and a shaker hoodscoop cuts out too much rear structure of the hood. I saw the housing you have on their website, but personally i like the single tube version. Your rambler is very impressive!👍🏻

Here are some pictures without the filter The base is a 2" drop base and the filter element is 14x4" The entrance is funnel shaped and there is about 1 -1.5" of free space all around the filter to the box but around the intake tubes there is alot more space Its a tight fit in the Rambler but we wanted to run as large of a filter as we could. Its a Torker intake with a 1" spacer under the carb

Perfection! Thank you lenni. Those pictures are a big help. I see the oil fill requires special consideration also . I think the single snorkle would work well for me. Www.ramairbox.com

Yes the oil fill tube needs to be shorten or moved out a little. Glad I could help.
