You still need this, Joe. I'm great at spending other people's munnie Yer killin' me lol! That IS cool, and it's a good thing I don't do FB and can't contact them. Plus, if it's a medium it might be a bit too small for my beer gut!

Oh well, you'll just look like a Mopar Guy wearing a tiny jacket. They all do it. LOL

OK, I'm pretty pumped about my new addition to Evel today! I found a cheap repop of the old "Rrrraw Power" handlebar grip that makes motorcycle engine noise on ebay, called the "Grrrowler" lol. For $12 bucks, I couldn't go wrong, and it looks very similar to the original. 20231221_160433 by Joe Pinsoneault, on Flickr Hit the picture below to check out this short video I made of the sound. I'm gonna wear this thing out in no time!! 20231221_171301 by Joe Pinsoneault, on Flickr And here is the commercial for the original grip. Too cool!😁

You surely don't want an NOS one. Wow. I know my neighbor had one. I forget what mine was, something cheap and generic no doubt. www.ebay.com/itm/325911495406

That's pretty cool! Probably don't need one, it might be in the way trying to haul the bike in the car trailer. That jacket tho!

Cool, the little 16" wheel model! I think I've reached my limit on bikes for now, but thanks. Against my better judgment, I sprung for one of the Schwinn re-release Orange Krate muscle bikes too. This will probably be a much better choice for a pit bike since the seat actually adjusts up to an adult height. Amazon had it on sale at 42% off, plus another 20% off kid's bikes last month. I just HAD to buy it... 20240127_202944 by Joe Pinsoneault, on Flickr

I collected Schwinn Stingrays about 20 years ago, and owned around 120 (including around 20 original Krates) of them at one time. IMHO the best riding Stingrays are the 64, 65, & 66 models. Unfortunately, those year bikes are some of the most expensive to find and own now. If you want to get into one of those years at a reasonable price, you might want to find and early frame, fork and handle bars and build an early bike with some later, wheels, seat and pedals, and go fender less. You'll still have a bike that rides like the originals at half the price or less than an original. I found the Krate bikes to be heavy and cumbersome to ride.

But the Krate bikes were by far the coolest of them all, IMHO.

The springer fork absorbed all your grunt. The little front tire with drum brake was a instant crash. Not exactly a great handling bike either. It had every gimmick you could think of. But it looked cool.

But the Krate bikes were by far the coolest of them all, IMHO. To me a 64 Super Deluxe was the coolest. I had an all original lime, 64 super deluxe that was very nice. It and an all original 64 coppertone deluxe that I had are the two bikes that I wished I had kept. I'd still be riding those two..

I love the White Letter Slick. Those are $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I have an old "AMF" maybe, upstairs I'd like to redo. But wow on the price of tires.
