I had the previlage of a visit with Yves (401amx1969) and his lovely wife Renee from Quebec. They came over to watch Stickshifter run on Friday night but was rained out. They spent the day Saturday with me so of coarse, I put them to work. Yves fault. He said that he was once a Glazier and knew how to put the windshields in like the one in my Mighty Might. Mind you, I had worked on mine for at least a two hours and gave up and figured I would have to take it to a glass shop. Well after a couple of hours and about 6 beers later we did it! What a pain in the ass though. It was a good day for Rick. Yves and Renee come over, bring beer, and help me put my windshield in. Well, it was more like me helping them. Then later in the day, Bro Farmguy3 and then N2oJoe came over and brought me a core 360 and M11 which meant that we had to drink more beer of coarse. Eventually we even broke out a little wine for the occation. Towards evening DrDrunk cam over to entertain us as well. Yves by Rick Jones, on Flickr Serously though, Thank you very much Yves and Renee for working on the windshield and generally a great day!

Always great to see Yves and Renee. Awesome people. Always enjoy hanging with N2OJoe as well. Wish I could have stayed longer but with my pain meds, it was probably a good thing

It is we who thank you Rick (and also Kevin the day before) for having received us and made it possible to recall and get to know friends of Michigan.
Saturday the weather was exceptional and the beer too!
Thanks to the Farm Guys!

So last week end Mr. ramblingrebel came over from Canada Eh to hang around and steal my spare Hornet. rp3 by Rick Jones, on Flickr I barely had enough time to grab my beer before he took off! He doesn't drink so Dr.Drunk and farmguy3 and I had to drink for him. From what I remember of it he seemed entertained cept for the part where he made a derogatory remark about the Willys. Good thing Bob wasn't there at the time is alls I'm sayin. rp1 by Rick Jones, on Flickr We also made a road trip clear down to Ohio (1/2 hour away) to Bob's (67roguexcode)to check out hs Garagemahal. Yes the car IS as nice as it looks. bw1 by Rick Jones, on Flickr bw2 by Rick Jones, on Flickr Bob's Brother (whos name is on the side of the car) teamed up with my machinist back in the day to run this chev. Bob is sitting in the stands beside Chuck and his Bro is driving. I will ask Bob to give some more details. bw3 by Rick Jones, on Flickr Another great week end. Thanks Guys!

Looks familiar. Hopefully this car will get done. It's probably starting to feel like a cheap whore being passed around.

Dave's shop is actually a Gambrial roof barn that he and Stickshifter added a wing to. Yea, it's nice.

I know a guy with heater floor in his toy garage. It is the way to go. He doesn't have any other heat source in there and it always stays warm. It's very well insulated and no windows with one garage door.
