Harley is an interesting study in why people will buy clearly inferior products just for cool factor and name recognition. They haven't been competitive with the Japanese brands since the late '60s.

Yep, does any other manufacturer have as big of a clothing line? We have a huge yuppie Harley dealer out here and they have a larger clothing section than any major clothing retailer. posin posin posin.

They probably make way more $$ from H-D merchandise and branding rights than they do from their motorcycles. For every guy I know who has a H-D that is less than 10 years old, I see 20+ who have some kind of merch. It's probably more like 100+.

Unfortunately not enough tubes, as I think it will be quicker than the 7.50 cert. The sqaure tube subframe connectors won't fly for the 6.0 cert I believe, right Kevin?

They are very specific on the tube placement, type, and size within the driver's compartment. Hard to tell by the pictures but I doubt it would take too much to get the 25.1 cert. However, the frame rails do have to be 1-5/8" CM. I have the spec if you want to check it out.

You kids and your fox bodies....lol Your car is looking killer Joe!!! This is my stepsons ride that he also runs in outlaw 275 (radial tire 1/8 mile). He built this himself out of a 4 cylinder car. He just got it back to the track and is working out some bugs but it's making lots of power and hooks hard and straight.

Damn, nice ride he has there Tony! Outlaw 275 is no joke, some fast stuff. I won a few X275 races at Milan before they cancelled the class, so now I'll probably go back to slicks and try my luck at Outlaw 632 at small block weight against Kevin's Gremlin. Getting closer, hopefully I can scale it soon and get to tweaking stuff. 20180709_134725 by Joe Pinsoneault, on Flickr
