Good thing that Ferd isn't an AMC. It's so nice, it might take all of Show Car Tony's future Trophies off of him. Lol, thanks! I'd like to check and adjust the alignment this weekend and get the brake proportioning set up, so I'll need a country backroad to cruise down. No Sesame Street Outlaw type passes, just an easy cruise to make sure it drives straight. If only I knew someone who lived in the country, maybe just south of Blissfield MI with no neighbors... LOL! Hey, maybe at my neighbor's house!

Well then, I guess I'll take that as a no!

Well then, I guess I'll take that as a no! You took it the wrong way.. I was just messing with you. It wouldn't be the first time that "someone" ran up and down my road with open headers. Bring it on over!

I figured it may have happened before, and they're probably used to the sound of horsepower rumbling from the shop!
If anyone questions it, just tell them it's top secret Farmguy research, all in the name of science of course. And beer.
It can't be any worse than a late night drunken 4 wheel drive pull off competition lol!

I've been slowly working on the Ford in between AMC projects, and welded in new rear lower control arm mounts with more adjustability. The car (and I 😔) have been struggling to improve the launch on slicks, after running radials for many years. I got in on a private rental at US131 on Wednesday and recruited SC397 for some help. We got in maybe 6 or 7 runs, mostly just 60' hits to test a few things. I'm happy with the new 4 link plot, but now need to sort through tire pressure, shocks, launch rpm, etc.... The 60' is miserable now at 1.16-1.20, but it did run 4.90 at 146 mph. Overall a good day. You can really see it wadding up the slicks at 8.6 psi in this video. Thanks for the help Rick! 20211006_170731 by Joe Pinsoneault, on Flickr

Just like that ol' Ray Evans song. They call him the streak.
