Now that is really something! Very noteworthy. I don’t think it would require much talking to get me in . Well if it wasn’t a thousand miles away

My only hold up is that I need to put a roof on the house this year, and paint an outbuilding, and finish an office for the wife, and pour concrete in the shop, and put shocks and a P/S pump on the wife's car, and do brakes and a timing belt on my car, and build a mud room, and build an overhang on two buildings.

Oh hell, that is just normal shit Reb. It will always be there. You have now started your to-do list so write it all down and put the list someplace that you will forget about then, go to work on some fun stuff.

Reb I have a ton of good excuses for not having fun too. My advice is do it before your 50. Because after that a ton of new good excuses come along. Like working mans back and joint issues

I’m speaking with vision provided by hindsight. Do it before you can’t. I built and installed the entire drivetrain in the 1967 ford custom 500 Texas hiway patrol car that competed in the 1995 “ one lap of America” organized by Brock Yates. The owners invited me( suckered me in) to come along as a mechanic. Which turned out to really be driver, mechanic, navigator, and general flunky all for free. It was the best time I spent not sleeping for a week , driving, wrenching, chasing down gas and coffeee and generally working my ass off for nothing for a team of late 70’s aged dreamers . But it was a good time I won’t ever forget.
