Whatervethehell "Remand" means. Has brass "freeze" plugs and flywheel though. I would prefer core plugs and a steel flywheel myself. Spud, me, or someone else should buy this, tear it down and fix whatever they screwed up and peddle it off for a few extra bux. theamcforum.com/forum/401-for-sale_topic99430.html

Seriously, $3500? ?? I wouldn't trust that thing in a junk yard wrecker.

That is why you would have to tear it down and fix it. In my opinion it is a core with some machine work done to it. If you could pick it up for like 2000/2500 it would be better.

Not seen any meat on that bone. Not too bad a deal if you dont need to spend anything on it. But if you buy it and its a gutterball ... well you might break even or worse yet go underwater. I usually lose on investments like that so i’m sittin it out.

Remand must mean a new oil pan gasket...
Reminds me of the old turd 350 I bought off a co-worker for $65. He bought a 72 Camper Special, they told him the engine was rebuild. He didn't believe it and chuckled. Timing chain was wore thru the cover and had 3 flat lobes..... They did put a 1969 4bbl intake on it tho. I guess that was the rebuild. and IIRC it was already a 4bbl mill, so dunno wtf they were doing....
Just looked it up, yep factory 4bbl. Maybe someone told em the 69 intake was a Vette intake. Welp it went to the shredder decades ago....
