Anyone have a 70-73? 4 door parts car? I need a few parts for my 72 Ambassador and believe that Matador and Ambos shared a lot of parts.
Looking for the door weatherstrips that wrap around the perimeter of the door and a trim for the rear of the drivers rear 1/4 panel extension.

I've been looking and it's not very clear. Some vendors say no, one says yes and the other doesn't know. 2 door hardtop, convertibles and wagons have them available just hard to find for the 4 doors. I have an email in to Metro with some questions, hopefully they can get me the correct answers. I figure there should be someone with a parts car.
I did find a few bits like the original bumper jack and wrench which is on its way and have a list for the usual vendors.

Seems like some vendors supplied it by the roll at one time or another. You had to cut/fit it yourself. I have a hard time imagining that 50 year old used weatherstip would be any better than what you already have.

That would be great! Something is better than nothing.

Did you ever find your weatherstripping? I drive a 70 and purchased all of those new from Galvin's. Theyre in Oregon so no telling if affected with the fires
