Airflow and 1-1/2 atmospheres of boost jammed down it's throat should about get anything off it's ass.

It sounds noisey untill it gets boosted. Then its quiet. I have a 4.0, I rebuilt it years ago. Its sitting on a stand in a bag. Its .030 over, has one of the old mopar jeep performance cams in it. Never fired. Its from my never finished turbo 4.0 project.

Kinda makes a 304 seem dumber than dumb. The only dumb part about the 304, by comparison, is the lack of boost.

Wheres landbarge when i need him. The 4.0 has assloads of room for a turbo install and is lighter and plentiful. The 4.0 has a fuckton of good parts availability like forged rods, pistons even an aftermarket crank, and an edelbrock head if you think you need one. The 4.0 seems like a helluva good option, bothin terms of performance and economy. Not that i would argue a well concieved turbo on a 304 would be nice, but i think a 4.0 would ultimately be better.
