1967-72 AMC Parts Manual shows for the "30" AMX & "70" Javelin, 10.104-1 PITMAN ARM as being different for Manual and Power Steering, by one digit, 318 7783 = Manual Steering PITMAN ARM ( superseded to 322 4137 ) 318 7784 = Power Steering PITMAN ARM
While both Manual & Power use the same 10-108.1 Idler Arm # 318 9512
Might anyone know the difference between the two different Pitman Arms between Manual & Power?
Looking in the '69 TSM it doesn't appear to be the pressed in bushing height is the difference...

The difference is in the size of the hole and splines the steering gear output shaft fits into. The power steering gear output shaft is bigger.

Long ago when getting the manual box for my car to replace power, it had the arm on it. A friend just recently got a manual box to replace his power, on my suggestion, but it has no arm on it. Might anyone have one to sale ?
