6 hour jaunt out into the madness that should have taken 1 hour, and almost nothing got done that was set out to do, topped of with a $15 state Inspection Sticker costing $225 cause "ya need a tie rod and 1 wheel stud is missing".... great. Stop by the bank, No, what?, No, you can NOT deposit cash in your mother's account with us... what?... No wonder i stay home all time, b/p was probably over 200 when I got home. Yea Hah!

Thank God we don't have state inspections. Time to change banks if it were me. They seem to forget that it is YOUR money and not theirs. Went to the drive up window a while ago and was depositing money. There is a area on the deposit ticket where you have to sign IF you are getting cash back. The young fellow in the window sent the deposit ticket back and asked me to sign it. I asked him why do I have to sign it if I am depositing money in to my own account and not getting cash back. He said it was a bank policy. I cam back with the most grumpy old man voice that I could muster and kindly told him that he is taking MY money and if anything I should have HIM sign for ME. All he could do was give me the oh shit you are right look and smiled.

We still have drive up teller windows here. Thankfully we don't have DEQ or anything like that anymore. Actually, the county where I live has never had it.

Two months ago, the bank that has the loan on my wife's car, sent me two letters on the same day. Actually the letters were to my "estate", and after the condolences for my death, said they needed more info to finish processing the claim. Not being dead (yet) I contacted the bank through several of the helpful ways they list to contact them. Of course the barely English speaking woman was no help, and gave me the phone number to the closest bank branch she could find based on my location. The branch she gave me was not the closet, and was in fact 700 miles away. So, on a Saturday morning I drive 30 minutes to the closest branch and spent 2 hours there watching as one of their OWN employees got the run around from corporate as to what the hell was going on.
STILL do not have an answer..
