Cool deal, Norm, nice job. Not your typical gAyMC post.... "what's an electric fan and where do I install it?" Throw using a Volvo fan in there and they're really fucked trying to figure that one out.

That looks factory. I can't wait to see if you make some gains in mph with it.

That looks factory. I can't wait to see if you make some gains in mph with it. thats what i'm hoping for Reb, last race i took the P/S belt off, it helped, in the heat the car will run high 11.50's to low 60's with everything hooked up, with the belt off it ran 11.53 to 11.56 deep staging, and i'm told deep staging will kill your ET by a tenth or more, i hope to go up on a friday night street night and test a little. throttle response seems a little better!

the fan can come from 96-06 volvo S80's or 01-06 S60's, the shroud measures 24Wx17Hx3 3/4D. i used an old bed frame for the angle iron then i cut one of the flat parts of the angle iron in half, clamped them together, drilled the holes, clamped it on the edge of the shroud and drilled those holes, then i sandwiched the shroud in the angle iron and the flat piece i cut and bolted it together, placed it on the radiator, marked the mounting holes and the angle iron the same as the radiator frame, cut and drilled that, mounted it up, wired in a #8617 relay with a 25 amp fuse to a toggle i've let the temp get to 190* then turned the fan on and in just about 20 seconds its down to under 170* the radiator is for a eagle wagon with a/c and i run a 160* T-stat Norm
