Is it really worth the effort to connect the water passages in the Torker manifolds?

Customer request. I honestly don't know if it helps equalize the heat or not. I did it to one of my engines but I never put a temperature gun to it to see if it makes any difference.

53. dcheek45: It runs!! I only had 3 coolant at the extra head bolts leaks to seal up. Not happy about that but I think that they are fixed now.. Open Headers

No PCV. He is running a Crankcase Evacuation System which evacuates through the breathers in the rocker arm covers and pulls through the headers. We will have to seal off the oil filler tube for the system to work. www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-120108/overview/

Not sure. I don't think that I would use that system on a street car.

Updates: 8. 390/401 Jeep Guy: Ready to assemble.... Still! This guy fell off of the face of the earth. I will try to find him again to get moving on this one. 55. MySC/360...360. Ready for me to assemble!!.... Still! 62. Melowyellow74: Ready for me to assemble. #3 priority 64. BC390: 68 390 street engine. The block turned out to be junk. Check out the crack at the weep hole. It goes down in to both cylinders. Of coarse Chuck found it while decking it after a couple of sleeves had been installed. I had to use the block for NEJoe's engine for this one. 66. NEJoe's390#3: At the Machine Shop. Um, we need another block Joe... 67. MN401: Ready to assemble. Farmguy3 has now graduated from Bolt Cleaner to Timing Cover and Oil Pan Detailer soon to be Expert Cam Bearing Installer. 69. LC390stocker: Ready to assemble, #2 priority - What cam are we putting in this one Lee?

Progress: 64. BC390: 68 390 street engine. FarmGuy3 got the cam installed and 4 pistons installed. Degreed by Ramblerman. 67. MN401: Cam installed, degreed. All 8 pistons installed 72. BradmobileII427: Ramblerman got all 8 pistons installed and he degreed his cam like 8 times. He is a Cam Degreen MoFo! We had 3 of them going together at once yesterday. Kept me on my toes looking over everyones shoulder and made for a interesting parade around the ring grinder at times.

72. BradmobileII427: OK so Mr. Brad switched cams because guess what... the center lifters wouldn't go all the way down to the cam lobe.. Why? because the numbnuts have the center cam bearing journal in the wrong place. If the cam is seated where it is suppose to be, the lifter hits the journal and won't go all the way down to the cam lobe. New cam and it is OK but it is not the cam he wants. No doubt we will be changing it later. Next issue... Rollmaster is probably one of the best timing sets that you can buy but here we go again. They changed it. Why? Well it is not to make it better for sure. They put a ,052" x .0190" slot right where where we don't want it! The new one has the slot right at the oil transfer hole to the distributor gear. Here is a picture of a older one beside the new one with the slot. We used the older one. Expecting to be disappointed in the answer, I might call them up to ask why they changed it.
