I remember Fran had a Kill Story section on his page that got no posts, except gay made up SST motor 100 buck on the dash sounding shit. 401s beating Hondas and feeling proud about it. Real shameful shit.
I see new topics in the Drag Racing section, and it's head gaskets for another dream build for a NRF.

Now the Aussie guy got his head out of his ass, his posts are better. My point with him was, he has the internet. Several Gremlins running numbers to get info from.
I'm familiar with my buddy's old Car, so I consider it as starting point, if you follow what he did, you're guaranteed to start in the low 13s and go faster from there. Not start in the 16s. My Bud's build needed improvements, but money was a factor. Someone who can toss $1000 at EFI, it's not as much as a factor as a guy who has to use $20 swap meet carbs.
No 360 should start in the 16s period, unless it's in a 4wd FSJ.
I'm also not claiming my bud was a pioneer, the first to ever do it in the Nation.... but in our area he was. We didn't have the internet to run to for info. Everyone around here alt powered their AMCs.

on an off note, another old Friend is buying a 71 Hornet and putting a 6.0 LS in it. I told him not to ask questions on gAyMC about it, cause he'll get more whinning than answers. One FB page I think is good, they ban the assholes that cry.

Ls is the game. If you dont believe it just go to any engine parts manufacturer or distributer and see the vanishing old era stuff and the new LS equipment. Ford and mopar stuff is much less popular. Import stuff even less.

For the past few years, I keep seeing him cancel it due to not enough support in one way or another. Then it gets saved.... I only have one AMC, no truck, trailer and doubt the car can make 4 hrs of driving. Plus it's always on a day, I can't get away. Yea, he always says that then come through in the end. This year he is ahead of the curve. It is always on the Friday of Memorial Day week end. This year it is on May 24. Hopefully you can plan ahead this year and make it even if you don't bring a AMC. Yep, get all those 6-7-8-9 sec guys on Faglin/gAyMX to bring their wicked beasts out to GAD. Not only do they run 6s in the 1/4 mile, but they get 40 mpg too!
