Ok generally speaking you wont see one at the strip. Unless its got a modified drivetrain anyways. These days i would expect a LS engine. Another thing is i never seen an amc engine in a big 3 chassis. I have seen amc chassis with other brand engines.

Great part is, $2000 for a gAyMC tunnel ram, or $300 for an LS one. but but, the cool factor. I think having an extra $1700 in your pocket is pretty cool to me. But I guess some look for the approval from other gAyMCers saying "sweet" on the internet. Since most rarely see another gAyMCer for years. Last one I saw was Show Car Tony over a year ago. Prolly be 5 more years before I ever see another.

99.95 percent of anything amc aint gonna race anyway. They can tape their dynosheets to their dicks.

I won the quickest AMC on Drag Week last year. They're supposed to give it to the quickest AMC powered AMC but I don't think one of those has showed up to Drag Week since 2016 when one ran the slowest average of all cars that completed the week. 20.88 seconds.

Tony ran in Modified NA in 2012, 2013, and 2015. DNF, 3rd, and 7th in class for those years.

Dan has won his class at Track Week several times with his 55. Runner up once. He knows how to build a solid Car. His 55 goes down the track like it's on rails and can go back and forth Cross Country all week.

I saw the Hornet at Cecil County day two of Drag Week. We watched most of the day, and by the time we went into the pits to check stuff out, they(Hornet) had left to head north to Atco Raceway for day three. The announcers talked about how cool the car was, with it's fiberglass fenders painted to match the patina of the rest of the car. I watched the live feed from Atco the next day, and the car made some good passes there.
