It sure takes up a lot of space. And it was a lot of work to get the shop ready for it. But I hope that it can help me make more stuff.
And it is a CNC slant bed turret lathe. Now I just need to figure out what to do with all the stuff that used to be in that area.

I swear Rick has that exact same floor jack Sears & Robuck baby! Back when they had man stuff and chrome tools everywhere! It looks like it has had the same amount of usage as mine too.

Yep, exactly right. I bought it when I was 17. Had to borrow some money from my mom as it was not cheap. But it has not missed a beat or leaked in the nearly 40 years. And it has lifted a LOT of stuff, not just cars. For some reason I also seem to use more electricity than efficient homes according to DTE? LOL Actually I use energy very efficiently, I just use a lot of it.
