So I never post here but I think this worth sharing. I was looking to upgrade my old torker and found a nos one in Georgia. The guys wanted as a much as a new intake so I started looking to see what could be bought for the same or close money wise and discovered a new single plane Edelbrock.
Then I learned there was an ongoing thread about developing this as Pro-Flo efi but would also be available as a carb option.
I popped on it and with a 10% off my order at summit I was all in around $404.0
So we will see how this goes. It’s going to make me rethink a few things but I can always put my torker back on if it’s waaay to much intake for my 401.

It’s a Rick Jones built 401 that’s gone as fast as 12.69 with the torker. So if the car doesn’t like it. I’ll be sure to give you guys some feed back.

It’s been a while and I wanted to share with everyone my first impressions. Looks amazing , it’s about 3/4 to 7/8 taller then the torker that was on the engine before. When I tried to install it there were issues getting the bolts in ( I had the heads fly cut at some point ) the intake needed to be machined 0.060 but it fits as it should now. I don’t know how to post pictures yet but I’ll try to figure that out. There’s a 1 inch four hole spacer under it and I love it. The needed some tweaking and I added the wide and o2 sensor and tuning the carburetor is easier with that. live.staticflickr.com/65535/50249322881_4fc74ac002_m.jpg F21656AF-AD81-41C5-AA7F-6E50C8EE397F

I have to say yes. The engine pulls harder from 4,000 to 7,000

Did ya fabricate a Throttle Cable bracket as there are no bosses for one on the new AMC Edelbrock Victor Intake Manifold?

flic.kr/p/2jyjUYcThere’s a bracket that I found on eBay that accepts the stock throttle cable clip and has the return spring all in one
