So here's one of the greatest problems with the AMC forum.... Someone asks about removing a stuck cylinder head. He was just looking for suggestions on how to remove it without doing any damage. First off, he said he tried using a rubber mallet and a 3/4" steel rod (not the smartest idea but not many "smart" people over there), and then he gets this latest response from "farna": "Have a machine shop measure the bores. Will likely have to be bored 0.030-0.040", but should be good. If if needs more than 0.040" over I'd look for another block. Many run them 0.060" over, but you could have over heating issues with cylinder walls getting that thin. I'd only do it if I couldn't find another block reasonably priced." I must have missed the part where the original poster asked for suggestions on what to do with the engine when he got the head off... I just don't get it! Why does everyone over there think they are smarter than everyone else? The dipshitz over there never cease to amaze me... Why can't they just STFU and answer what the poster asked and stop trying to amaze everyone with their endless knowledge about Jackshit? The stupid shit value on that forum outweighs any real intelligent advise there! theamcforum.com/forum/1971-hornet-heads_topic106740.html?SID=28301-e9949bc4abc537z1zdd75864236111
