So my Taurus puked out on me the other night coming home from work. Alternator died, and I don't really feel like buying one right now, so I'm driving the mighty black Concord. On my way through town last night about 11:00 pm on my way to work, red & blue lights start flashing behind me. I'm instantly annoyed because I figure he's stopping me for the loud, but perfectly legal brand new exhaust. Finally he comes to the window; Cop: Good evening sir. Um, what kind of car is this? Me: An '81 AMC Concord. Cop: Well, I haven't seen one of these in.....well, ever! He was a young guy, the car is probably older than he is. I couldn't even be irritated with him after that, it was just too funny! He stopped me because I had a headlight out. The adjuster for that headlight was broken, and it pointed nearly straight down, so I didn't even notice it wasn't working And could I find the correct adjusters for it? Of course not! I ended up having to buy another style and ended up modifying the adjusters AND the header panel on the car. First time it's ever taken me 45 minutes to change a headlight. But hey, I still got a good laugh out of the whole thing....

Sounds like he was a pretty good guy too me. If you want to change the bulbs on my 2010 malibu I'll let you. It takes almost 2 hrs. You have to take the whole front facia off. GM engineers really do suck!
