I have this old Lincoln (rebranded Hein-Werner)two ton jack that I bought used in the mid-90s, and it was probably 20+ years old then. It finally stopped lifting last summer, leaving me to rely on a Chinesium one. That one became not very useable after I ran it over with the excavator. Crap. No way I'm buyin' a jack from Hazard Fraught, and a new Hein-Werner is like $400. Ah, ebay to the rescue! Turns out the whole rebuild kit is like $30. It took an afternoon to tear it down, clean everything, and put it back together. While I was at it, I pressure washed the whole thing and re-lubed it. Works like brand new. Then I promptly covered it in mud and water while pressure washing the underside of my rig after a weekend's worth of mudding.
