You running a 4350 carb? Mine likes to randomly flood the motor out when I'm driving slow in town. Yeah, a 4300. I have collected quite a few of those things while teaching myself how to tune and modify them for the Pure Stock crap. They are pretty sensitive to fuel pressure and it's not hard to over power the needle/seat and flood them. I also try and keep the float adjustment a bit below level. If it has the dual needles/seats, plugging the smaller auxiliary one will help too. I just run the $17 Carter muscle car series fuel pumps, and love them so far.

Thanks guys. It's a pretty basic street engine that I can enjoy while collecting parts for something more. This winter I need to get the functional cowl induction hood swap done.

Post the engine bay picture the day you bought it together with that new picture you just posted about a week ago.

Yeah, that Car wasn't nowhere near as "Clean" as well thought it was. Wow.
Show Car Tony would allow that one in his Driveway.

Looks great Joe! What's with the coupling on the rear brakeline? Thanks Tony! The brake line union is a factory junction point.

Looks great Joe! What's with the coupling on the rear brakeline? Thanks Tony! The brake line union is a factory junction point. Come on now... this is AMC we're dealing with. They had all those front to rear lines already for the early style brake light block, no sense wasting them.
