Hmmm, The dorf built Jeeps that I have seen had horizontal bars in the grill. Nice pics! Like the Willys Areo. I always wanted to to restore a Sears Allstate (Henry J). up.

Weird, I thought I posted a reply but must not have . Guess I have tto say out loud - "I'm posting now!" Let me try- "I'm posting now!" Was sayin', well, I thought I was sayin that the Aero needs the wheel wells opened up. Those wheels are also hideous. But the car was awesome and the chick driving it was cool. The M-1 Garand in the Ford Jeep was interesting because I thought tankers and vehicle personnel were mainly issued carbines but it occurred that a Jeep would generally be an infantry item and a Garand would be appropriate. Plus carbines were issued later than early to mid '43 if the memory is correct. Steve
