The Grand Wagoneer owner was asking me about the Bulltear serpentine set-up. I had no experience with it and only knew of one local car with it. Fast 401 has it and said it was working fine. SC397 had installed a couple on engines he was working on and said there was a fair amount of "massaging" to get everything to line up and if I was going to add one to the Jeep, to do it with the engine out. I had no interest in adding it, but the owner really wanted it, so I say OK..
Ordered 8/08/23. No response from them, only a PayPal verification of the order. 9/07/23 I email to check on it. The response? "I know we are behind on serpentines". While off work in October from the knee replacement, I call. 2.5 weeks. I email again once I'm back to work on 11/14/23, 2.5 more weeks. I check again 12/05/23 and they finally fess up that their lathe controller is broken and had to send it back to Mitsubishi for repair.
I was working on my junk, so fine I'll wait 'till after new year. 1/10/24 I check again, Good news! we're back in production and your parts are shipping this week! They of course didn't ship that week, but last week I get a PayPal notification that they are shipping. I got the parts last Friday, minus the compressor pulley. No emails, not a single scrap of paper in the box, nothing. I email this morning with a WTF? I get "those parts ship separate, we need the serial no. off the compressor".
Five fucking months and I'm STILL having to drag every bit of info out of them and why in the hell didn't they ask me for this info before? I sure hope the parts are usable and I don't have to deal with them again. That is certainly some piss-poor customer service.
