Exactly, it's easy to talk. Especially the way they talked down on you and your car. They shoulda showed up and shown everyone their "AMC knowledge"
What a joke.

Geez I just saw this.
Recently I ran across an "Old" post by dan saying he was going to go to the track and "Show Everybody".
The post is over 2 years old now!!!!
Besides, I heard he can't even shift at 6K without blowing up one of his engines! LMAO!

Yeah wow, I had to check the year on this since I saw I replied.
I think I rejoined gAyMC in 2009 (have to recheck) and he was talking shit then and still no timeslips. If my join date is correct, the book should have been out 4 years ago.
As said earlier, it's easy to talk.

The Book... Gathering the information would be simple.. Once you sort the wheat from the chaff, it is all on the forums or documented somewhere. It would probably take a non-AMC-ego guy to do it though. Just state the facts Mam.. I mean really, it is not that difficult to build a reliable mill to produce up to at least 500 HP. Don't get me wrong, going from 400 HP to 500 HP is a big step but we know how to do it. Want more? That can be figured out too! The technology is all ready out there.. Just ask the experts that are actually doing it, make no assumptions. OK, done now.

Jeez.....it's been so long since I've seen this thread. I almost thought it was a new one. :-) In case I didn't say it before; those were some nice runs, Norm.

thanks Reb, the shit box is pretty consistant.
wish i had that luck this past weekend, nothing but traction problems, first pass spun to a 1.90 60', second and third passes were 2.04 and 2.03 60's, best pass ended up 11.83 at 121.97 in Q1, only 3 cars showed for the class so i technically made it to the semi's lol.
it was hot & humid as hell there, the track temp on saturday was reported to be 140* at the line and close to that on sunday, at 5:30PM on our way threw Boston i took a pic of the truck temp above the mirror and it was 101*
i think the bolts that hold the 4 link to the brackets are too tight after i put it back in not letting the suspension work like it should and i need to check the pinion angle, this car has never had traction problems like this at the track with drag radials.....IT DON'T MAKE ENOUGH POWER TO HAVE TRACTION PROBLEMS!
