So the weather is shit today in Georgia. NASCAR racing sucked again. Can't do anything with my projects other then stare at them. So here is my Jeep post to get this thread started. Your basic 89 Model with a 4" lift and Boobie Grill Modification. Later model Cherokee Bushwhackers modified for a FSJ. I always hated the MT center caps because they start to rust within a month so I modified the wheels for the Jeep Caps. Took my time with a protractor and drilled and tapped the holes using SS screws and lock washers to secure them on the wheels. Got tired of pulling the spare in and out of the back of the Jeep so I modified the spare tire holder to accommodate a 33" tire. We camp out at the Z-Max Dragway every year so I needed a good shelter when the weather gets shitty. Yes those are Beer Holders! Engine went south going to a Drag Strip last September so I built my 5th engine to date with oiling mods by Rick. Old Engine> New Engine> That's it and my intro to the Jeep thread!

Wow. Your Jeep really makes me miss my '89. A Broad hit it right in the side of the plow blade (we need those here in the north) and bent the frame kinda bad. The hood stayed straight, just the rest of the front end moved over..........

Well she looks good in the pictures, but like the rest of my shit it's a twenty footer. The Jeep came out of Nebraska and apparently went through a "Wizard of Oz" type hail storm before it arrived here in GA. I'm collecting parts, got a hood for it and all of that BS, but one day it will be brought back to a good looking one footer. It has minimal rust, undercarriage looks good, needs some bushings, but the hood looks like a moon walk. In the meantime it runs great and I can turn the key on and go anywhere.
Thanks for the compliments!

We're not gAyMC here. 20 footers are cool with us. Being a little banged up gives them character.

But really, I don't think anybody here gives a rat's ass about high dollar paint. And all of us actually have running AMC vehicles.

Very nice waggy. My wifes is an '88, 4" on 31's. Yours is very clean. Your wagoneer looks familiar, have you been on the FSJ site?
