Good attitude! Nice Ride! Timeslips are what counts, not inflated dyno numbers and HP specs out of the Mighty Book of Chilton.

has anyone ever really quoted chilton hp specs lol. i think our 427 was over cammed by about 15 degrees at .050 i just read about brad's motor with edelbrock heads going 9.70s and it really makes me question what we did wrong there, if the heads are repairable i might revist that engine with his cam grind and see if it picks up some to alot.

LOL! Don't forget that Brad changed his cam twice before we dyno'ed it and at least once since we dynoed it. Yea, he has a small fortune in roller cams. However, he does seem to know his shit about cams.. And, don't forget that those WERE Edelbrock heads at one time but they are far from that now.

OUR 427 had adkins ported 291cs and older comp grind that was .760 .740 lift solid roller that was 278 and 288 @.050 on a 108 lsa installed at 104.00 and the car just never ran like we thought it should brads heads seam to flow better through the mid range but i'm not sure how that bench compares to adkins bench and of course thats not the whole story with cylinder heads.

They can't go a single day without doing it. Fresh HP quote from the Mighty book of Chilton again today.
