I have 5 engines to assemble, I have the shop half torn apart, I have to get concrete poured before the snow flies, so I decided to throw some paint at the Machine today. I guess it is kinda part of the master plan. I figured I would get this done before I tore out the paint room. How come you didn't just paint over the old undercoating/grime/grease like they do at the collector quality shop in AZ?

How come you didn't just paint over the old undercoating/grime/grease like they do at the collector quality shop in AZ? I am not going for that level of restoration. Besides, the Drag-Pac cars didn't have udercoating.

I don't know if that is going to qualify as 'collector quality'. :-D

You get more done in a day than i get done all year. Damn you and your retirement!🤬 It is the same old thing... Most of the people you talk that have retired say they that they are so busy they don't know how they ever had time for a real job. My fault, but right now with all of the projects and a shop to rebuild and get concrete in before the snow flies it is kinda overwhelming. I know how that sounds redicules. I get shit accomplished but I feel like I have been spinning my wheels for a couple of weeks. Woe is me.. Somehow yesterday, I justified working on my own car as part of the grand plan. I am not overly proud of the job but it is better than the factory did and that is good enough for me. I am going to dig myself out of the project hole by spring in hopes of throttling back and enjoying myself a little bit next year. I need to throw the engine and trans in the BBO Javelin then cart it off to Javetwotone to get it drivable. I also need to find a new bolt cleaner. The dam Dr. went back to work full time.
