Progress... Have a hell of a cold and left early Thursday and didn't get anything done. Took a day Vacation Friday (still have the cold of coarse) and with the help of my Bro and Bro-in-law got the ceiling all insulated and the steel put up between Fri, Sat and today. I have to wire up lights, install the over head doors and get the floor coated before I can put the furnace back in. This still sucks. I hate racing against time and weather..

Ceiling is done, 2 of the 3 over head doors installed, ready for the guy to come and do the floor tomorrow. What a PINTA and a ton of work this week to get to this point. Oh, my Brother named the vaulted ceiling "The dome of Crosslightusness" (He is the one that was DA'ing the top of the 1955 ford pick up before we actually had a ceiling)

No matter how much space you have, your shit will quickly expand to fill it! ;D

Preaching to the choir. I have too many cars and parts for the space I have but, this is not a expansion. Other than the new lifts this is a pay me latter type of thing due to 30 years of use and neglect. Just prepiing and coating the 30x30 area of the floor cost double the price of the original concrete for the whole 30x46 area.

Really does look great. Let me know when you need help with the lifts, cuz I have a lot of work planned with them.........

Well, we will see what the floor looks like tomorrow. The guys came back and re-coated it twice again. There was one area that I told them about 3 times and they assured me that it would fill in. It didn't but, I was willing to live with it. The one guy wasn't happy with the rest of the job so they sanded it down and re-coated it with different material. It was not as glossy and wasn't as smooth. So when he went in to check out the second coat the following day, he made foot prints in it. He just called me and said that he coated it again last night.

Progress: New floor, 2 new doors, new drywall on the east side. What a total PINTA. I won't even go in to how much time and work it takes to clean all of the benches, cupboard good enough to repaint etc. Winter is fast approaching and even now I can't do anything outside. Frustrating. There is still 2 months work the work to do outside next summer. I need to make some progress on the engine building this week end so, Saturday come hell or high water I am working on engines.

Hey folks, This is Rick's brother Jeff( ya know, the insanely good-looking one sanding the roof of the '55 f-100). We got some more stuff moved back around in there today, press, sandblaster, etc. Might have got more done, but I messed up and brought beer. Rick, probably Cuz Matt wants the door to stay that way because he still remembers me kicking an empty keg out of it And Bruce, don't worry, you'll be sittin' around the table insulting Bristow in no time. It IS unbelievably bright in there now. Could easily perform brain surgery in bay #1 with nary a shadow, thanks to the "Dome of Cross-Lighteousness" Oh, and btw Rick, don't forget about the Rambler convertible, or the SC 360 we painted, or the BBO "Mod" Javelin. And of course, about a gazillion engine changes......

Progress: javtwotone DA'ing my sign for the shop. Someone really screwed it up by wiping it with lacquer thinner or something then, spray painting over the top. After he polished it up it really came out nice.
