Women and Politics was the discussion with n2oJoe and I tonight. The couple of beers and 3.2 bottles of wine and it seemed like we mind melted on the current state of affairs. We have no answers or anything but I think we might have enough courage to move on damn those torpedos anyway.

Yea, no one is listening to him. He just wants a air cleaner that looks right.. "And just a FYI. We are not looking for it to be 100% stock. The car/ engine being modified with a stealth look. We call it the Group 19 look. Wink"

If I remember correctly.... Al Larry built the engines for Moby Dick and he told me that it was due to those races they changed to the angled oil pump gear cover. I guess the axle hit it a little too hard and caused some oil pressure issues.

We used to do Solo SCCA racing with my '68 AMX and it was a blast. Learned how to steer with the power of the rear tires. I had the suspension so stiff that it would lift a front tire going into a hard turn. I actually loaned the car out to a buddy and he ran it for a couple of years. Again, it was a lot of fun!
