Just found out that car belonged to a local fellow that I have known for years. He has cars stuck in garages all over Detroit and is paying rent on each one. I guess someone got tired of storing it for him and called a wrecker to come get it. Or, someone took it and applied for a lost title and got one. My other buddy tried to buy it from him just last year and he wouldn't sell it to him. The car has been "missing" since last June..

Yesterday it was 1 degree with 20 mph winds resulting in a wind chill of -36. -5 this morning but the wind is finally down to 12 mph. Typical with the wind, there is no snow in my yard but I have a 3' deep drift just outside my garage door.

Call the Shaftmasters and have them quote a price. I bet that you wont find one cheaper.

Fleet Pride in Toledo charged me $376.00 for cutting the ends off and welding a new middle section for my Willys Aero drive shaft. Talk about getting the shaft. I won't be going back there for any more business.

Cut, Assemble U-Joint & balance Shaft. $80.95. It was done in 24 hrs. I can run it up there sometime if you want me to. It is located about 4 miles away from my girl friends house... IMG_8128 by Rick Jones, on Flickr

I can't find where I posted it but I had a drive shaft shortened and balanced in Dearborn and it was really cheap. I will see if I can find where I posted it..

No, just the same stuff that is now in the loft of my Tractor Barn or scattered about the shop. Since I bought the 14' trailer in 2017 I have been selling more stuff than buying.

"Hey Joe, do you have any more Redwings beers? Are they still available there? My son is a HUGE wings fan (I've tried converting him...)" I am sure that he has a few empties that he would sell you. We get $0.10 each in Michigan for them which translates to about $20.00 in Canadian Tyre money.
