. Well they are pretty much done, maybe need some header paint, and some minor cleanup and stuff. Got them in the car and about half done with the exhaust. Don't know what kind of magic reb did to get such good pics. I had to edit them down pretty small to get them to load in the add attachments feature But if I click on the pic it goes full screen... Well on my device anyways

so do y’all like building headers? These are a total bitch to get in. I have to get it up in the air, remove the strut rods, starter( mini starter only) and loosen up the steering column completely. I could have given them better steering column clearance in hind sight. But these headers are a no compromise take all the room i can for the most generous radius possible. Not made for easy installl. Easiest install would be hang em ...and then drop the engine in.

Very nice. All tucked up in there nice, esp the primary tubes. I remember those hanging low on the Gremlin and it got one smashed.

Thanks guys. Im generally happy with how they came out. I guess if i was into making them the next set would be better. Kinda need to move along with the project though, so it will be awhile before i can invest the time in another set. Which i would like to do for the 401 in that car. These headers are going into my old 232 javelin, which i am finally converting to v8 with the stock 78 304 i got from sc397. I dont know how much time is in these headers, maybe a hundred hours. Are they worth it? Well not really . They are an exercize, and a fun project, and an experiment. I gotta say a set of hedmans are a great bargain. Im not gonna gain a lot over hedmans for sure, on the top end torque... I hope to gain some low and midrange, where it runs 99 percent of the time. Real world driving, and thats what these are for mostly. I aint gonna lie i will race the dogshit out of it when i do. Which i will and look foreard to soon. Im quite far behind, i wanted to run last week. So here they are, and are what they are, what i think might work, cuz A 304 needs all the help you can give it.
